HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR FEMA LETTER
Go to the Pinellas County Property Appraisers website:
Click on "property search". Type in your address and click the "Tools" tab on the right .Then at the bottom of that window click the "FEMA Letter" tab. This will give you the max allowed for repairs/improvements on your property under the 50% rule.

PINELLAS COUNTY INCOME ELIGIBLE HURRICANE HOME REPAIR PROGRAM
The Hurricane Home Repair Program helps income eligible homeowners impacted by Hurricane Helene or Milton pay for storm repairs not covered by insurance or FEMA. Eligible residents may receive up to $30,000 in grant funding as reimbursement or direct payment for eligible home repairs.

Please be careful when hiring service providers for hurricane recovery assistance. There are unscrupulous characters that will be in the market attempting to take advantage of people who are most in need. Be cautious with door-to-door knockers offering services - especially if they ask for payment in advance.
